The sole surviving
Douglas Cable Car is in fact an amalgamation of two vehicles, that after
withdrawal in 1929 were converted to a bungalow near Jurby. Rediscovered
in 1968 they were restored to form one vehicle, that carries No 73 on one
end and 72 on the other.
